Who says we don't have a class system in America?
Your life is worth less than the lives of the President, his wife, and his sidekick. I am reminded of the designated parking spaces at commissaries and post exchanges (essentially Wal-Marts) on Army installations. They say they're reserved for sergeants major, colonels and generals, but really they're reserved for the wives of these luminaries. But the military's class system, however archaic, is at least one to which soldiers voluntarily submit. Now we understand that the lives of ordinary American peasants don't count for much compared to the life of the mighty Michelle Obama, who was elected to what office exactly?
